This policy explains what information the Citrus MakerSpace website collects and how we use it. Citrus MakerSpace is a DBA of The Business Center for Citrus County, Inc., a 501(c)(3). In this policy, “we” and “us” mean Citrus MakerSpace.
Information you send us
The personal information we ask for is what you type into one of our forms:
- Contact form: name, email address, phone number (optional), reason for contacting us, subject and message.
- Schedule a Visit form: name, email address, phone number (optional), the days of the week that work best for you, number of people and any notes you add (all optional).
- Membership Application: name, email address, phone number, mailing address, membership plan, emergency contact name and phone number, and what you would like to make (optional).
Each submission is emailed to the MakerSpace and saved in the site’s admin area, which is limited to our volunteers and site administrators. We use it only to respond to you, schedule your visit or process your membership. We do not sell, rent or trade your information.
With each submission the site also records your IP address and browser information. Submissions may be screened for spam by Akismet, a service of Automattic, the company behind WordPress.com.
Embedded content and links
Some pages show content from other services: Google Maps on the Home, Contact and Schedule a Visit pages, YouTube videos (through youtube-nocookie.com) and a Matterport 3D tour on the Take a Tour page, and YouTube training and safety videos on some equipment pages. When a page with this content loads, those providers may receive your IP address and set cookies or similar technologies under their own privacy policies. We do not control that.
Our pages also link to Facebook and YouTube. Those sites have their own privacy practices once you leave ours.
Hosting
This site is hosted on WordPress.com. WordPress.com may collect standard server and security logs (such as IP address, browser type and pages requested) and basic site statistics as part of providing the service.
Your choices
